Life of an Urban Yogi
With Heather Harrah
Life of an Urban Yogi is for anyone who has ever wanted to go deeper into Yoga—not necessarily to become a teacher, but to better understand themselves and learn how to truly live the practice.
Over the last 15 years, I’ve studied Yoga, movement, wellness, consciousness, spirituality, connection, and what it means to create a life with more freedom and less unnecessary suffering. This program brings those years of study, teaching, and lived experience together into one immersive journey designed to take Yoga beyond the poses and into your everyday life.
Over six weekends, we’ll explore Yoga philosophy, the subtle body, breathwork, meditation, anatomy, functional movement, self-practice, purpose, intuition, and the practices that help us become more present and connected to ourselves. You’ll learn not only what these teachings mean, but how to use them—to listen more closely to your inner voice, understand your patterns and needs, care for your body, create practices that actually support your life, and move through the world with greater awareness and intention.
The experience culminates in a graduation retreat over the Spring Equinox, where we’ll bring everything together through the exploration of Dharma, meditation, connection, and the question at the heart of this work: Who am I becoming as I step into my next chapter?
You do not need to want to teach Yoga to belong here. You simply need to be curious about yourself, your practice, and what it might look like to live with greater purpose, connection, and meaning. And if you discover along the way that teaching is something you want to pursue, an optional teacher-training pathway will be available at the completion of the program.
This isn’t just about learning more Yoga. It’s about learning how to live it.Guest Faculty:
